The Board of Qvantel Oy announces that Mrs. Liisa Grant, CEO of the Company, has decided to leave the company on October 31st 2015. The Board would like to thank Mrs. Grant for her contribution to the success of Qvantel Group and wishes her the best of success in the future.
The board of Qvantel Oy has appointed Mr. Karri Linna as the new CEO. Mr. Linna has worked as the CFO of Qvantel Group since November 2014.
Liisa Grant commented, “Having led Qvantel for over six years it is time for me to move on to pursue other personal opportunities and to make way for a new CEO to take the company to the next stage of its development. It has been hugely satisfying to make the company grow during these years, and to have worked alongside fantastic colleagues. I know the success will continue in the future with the new opportunities we have at hand. I’m confident that Mr. Karri Linna will be the best skipper to make this happen.”
Mr. Matti Roto, the Chairman of the Board said, “Under Liisa’s command Qvantel Group grew revenue from 8,4 MEUR (in 2009) to 28 MEUR (2015E) and headcount from 115 employees to over 280. We will miss Liisa’s leadership and contribution to the operative work. The board wants to thank Liisa for her service, leadership and many achievements, and wishes her every success in the future. We will hand over the helm to Mr. Karri Linna, who will have the capacity and leadership to grow Qvantel to the next level.”
